Volume Loss & Facial Balancing

Faces change shape as well as texture. Restoring volume in the right places lifts and rebalances, rather than simply filling.

Volume Loss & Facial Balancing

It’s rarely about adding more, it’s about where

Volume loss happens deeper than most people expect. Fat pads shift and shrink, bone remodels, and support that was once there simply isn’t. What shows on the surface — a heavier lower face, flattening cheeks, folds that weren’t there before — is usually the downstream effect of change higher up.

That’s why treating the line you can see often isn’t the answer. Restoring support where it was lost tends to soften several things at once, and usually with less product than expected.

We assess the face as a whole and treat in stages, reviewing between sessions. Sometimes the right recommendation is a single area. Sometimes it’s to wait.

The "Triangle of Youth"

In a youthful face, volume is distributed high in the cheeks, tapering down to a defined chin—creating an inverted triangle. As we age, this triangle inverts. We lose deep fat pads in the mid-face and bone density in the jaw and chin. Gravity then causes the remaining soft tissue to slide downward, resulting in flattened cheeks, deep nasolabial folds, and the formation of jowls.

Restoring Structure with Fillers

Facial balancing is the art of replacing this lost support structure. We use premium, high-density Dermal Fillers and Collagen Stimulators (like Radiesse) to mimic bone and fat.

  • Mid-Face Lift: By placing filler deep on the cheekbone, we can lift the skin, reducing the weight of the nasolabial folds and restoring the "Ogee curve" of the cheek.
  • Profile Balancing: A recessed chin can make the nose appear larger or the neck shorter. By projecting the chin and defining the jawline, we create harmony across the entire profile.

What to Expect

This is a high-impact treatment with immediate results. You will see the lift and definition instantly. While some swelling is normal, the result is a sharper, more youthful, and balanced appearance that typically lasts 12–18 months.

FAQs

Answers to common questions about our injectable treatments and aesthetic services

What are dermal fillers made of?

The majority of our fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar substance in the body that keeps skin plump and hydrated.

What makes Radiesse different from regular fillers?

Radiesse is a biostimulator made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA). While HA fillers simply take up space, Radiesse acts as a scaffold that forces your body to produce its own fresh collagen and elastin.

Do I have to pay for a cosmetic consultation?

We charge a $50 consultation fee. However, this fee is fully redeemable against the cost of any treatment you proceed with on the day, acting as a deposit for our clinical time.

What is facial balancing?

Facial balancing is an artistic approach where we look at the whole face rather than one single line. We strategically place filler in areas like the cheeks, chin, and jawline to create harmony and a youthful profile.

Are dermal fillers painful?

We prioritize your comfort. Premium fillers contain Lidocaine (a local anesthetic) inside the gel, which numbs the area as we inject. We also use topical numbing cream for sensitive areas like the lips.

Can Radiesse be dissolved?

No. Unlike Hyaluronic Acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with Hyalase. This is why it is an advanced treatment used primarily for structure (jawlines, cheeks) by highly experienced injectors.
