Under-eye rejuvenation

Banish dark circles and hollows for a brighter, awake appearance. We use specialised techniques to treat the delicate tear trough area, reducing shadows and signs of fatigue.

Under-eye rejuvenation

The right treatment depends on the cause

Under-eye shadows have several possible causes and they don’t all respond to the same thing. Sometimes it’s a genuine hollow casting a shadow. Sometimes the skin is simply thin enough that the muscle and vessels beneath show through. Sometimes it’s pigment, and occasionally it’s puffiness being read as darkness. Filler only addresses one of those.

Where there’s true hollowing, a lightweight tear trough filler placed with a cannula lifts the skin flush with the cheek and removes the shadow. Where the issue is skin quality, boosters formulated for the eye area thicken and repair the skin instead. This is one of the areas where treating the wrong cause makes things look worse, so the assessment matters more here than almost anywhere else on the face.

Why Do We Get Dark Circles?

The under-eye area (tear trough) is the first place to show fatigue. Dark circles are often caused by a structural "hollow" that casts a shadow, or by thin skin revealing the dark muscle and blood vessels underneath. No amount of sleep or eye cream can correct this structural deficit.

Tailored Treatments for Delicate Eyes

Because the skin here is the thinnest on the body, we customise the treatment to your specific anatomy:

  • Tear Trough Filler: For clients with true hollowing, we use a lightweight, cohesive filler to lift the skin flush with the cheek, erasing the shadow.
  • Polynucleotides (Rejuran/Sunekos): For clients prone to puffiness or with dark pigment, we use bio-stimulators to thicken the dermis and repair skin quality without adding volume.

Restoring light to tired eyes

The under-eye area is one of the most delicate on the face, so treating it well takes precision, not just product. We offer a range of options, tailored to what’s actually causing your particular shadows and hollows.

For volume loss creating a hollow or shadowed look, we use a specialised tear trough filler, placed with a gentle, precise technique suited to this sensitive area. For those wanting to improve overall skin quality -  texture, hydration, and fine lines - we use skin boosters such as Sunekos and Rejuran, or microneedling, to support the skin from within. Your practitioner will assess the cause of your under-eye concerns during consultation and recommend the right combination for a natural, refreshed result.

What to Expect

This is an advanced procedure performed with a cannula for safety. Results are instant with filler, or gradual with boosters, leaving you looking well-rested and refreshed.

FAQs

Answers to common questions about our injectable treatments and aesthetic services

What causes dark circles under the eyes?

Dark circles can be caused by true hollowing (a structural shadow), thinning skin that reveals blood vessels, hyperpigmentation, or a combination of all three.

Is tear trough filler dangerous?

The under-eye area is complex, which is why it should only be treated by an experienced medical professional. We use a blunt-tipped cannula instead of a sharp needle to significantly maximize safety and minimize bruising.

Am I a good candidate for tear trough filler?

Good candidates have a true structural hollow without excessive under-eye bags or fluid retention. We must assess you in person to determine if filler is the safe and correct choice.

How long does the under-eye rejuvenation procedure take?

The treatment itself takes about 15 to 20 minutes, though we allocate 45 minutes for your appointment to allow for a thorough consultation, mapping, and a slow, precise injection technique.

What is the difference between Rejuran and tear trough filler?

Filler adds immediate volume to physically lift a hollow. Rejuran (Polynucleotides) regenerates and thickens the skin tissue over time to reduce dark pigmentation and crepey lines without adding bulk.

Will under-eye filler fix my puffy eye bags?

Filler is used to correct hollows. If your primary issue is protruding fat pads (puffy bags), adding filler may actually make them look worse. During your consultation, we will assess if you are a suitable candidate.
