We start conservatively, because it’s straightforward to add a little more at review and impossible to remove product once it’s placed. You’ll come back at two weeks, once the effect has fully settled, and we’ll adjust from there. Because the protocol includes injecting the forehead and frown muscles, you will experience a cosmetic softening of lines in your upper face. This is generally considered a welcome "side effect" by patients!
There is no "right" age. Many clients start in their late 20s or 30s as a preventative measure when they first notice dynamic lines beginning to stick around when their face is resting.
A "unit" is simply a standard measurement of the medication. Different areas require different amounts of units depending on muscle strength. For example, a strong frown line requires more units than fine crow's feet.
The injections feel like a tiny, quick pinch. The needles used are incredibly fine, and the procedure is usually completed within a matter of minutes with minimal discomfort.
No. As a strict medical precaution, we do not perform any cosmetic injectable treatments on clients who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
Avoid lying down flat for 4 hours, intense exercise or sweating for 24 hours, and do not rub or massage the treated area to prevent the product from spreading to unwanted muscles.
