Not every double chin is fat

But fat is only one of the possible causes. Loose skin can create the same heaviness, and a recessed chin or undefined jawline can produce the appearance of fullness where there’s very little fat at all.
Where it genuinely is fat, dissolving injections permanently break down those cells over a course of two to four sessions. It’s worth knowing upfront that swelling is significant for the first few days after each session, and results take four to six weeks to appear as your body clears the treated fat.
